Certified Veteran-Owned Small Business
Applied Response Training LLC is certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a Veteran-Owned Small Business through the SBA Veteran Small Business Certification program.
The certification formally recognizes that Applied Response Training meets the federal requirements for veteran ownership and control and qualifies as a small business under applicable SBA standards.
For our students and organizational clients, veteran ownership is not presented as a substitute for experience, preparation, or the quality of our training. It is part of who we are and reflects many of the principles that continue to shape how Applied Response Training operates.
A Defined Federal Standard
Veteran-Owned Small Business certification is administered by the U.S. Small Business Administration through its Veteran Small Business Certification program, commonly referred to as VetCert.
Veteran Ownership
A qualifying Veteran-Owned Small Business must be at least 51% owned by one or more eligible veterans.
Veteran Control
Veteran ownership must include meaningful control of the business rather than ownership in name alone.
Small Business Qualification
The company must also qualify as a small business under applicable SBA size standards.
SBA Certification
Certification provides an independent federal determination that the business satisfies the applicable Veteran Small Business Certification requirements.
